BROKEN SPRINKLERS SOAKS KARCHER MALL BY KENDEL MURRANT/IPT
NAMPA — A fire sprinkler pipe in Karcher Mall ruptured this weekend, showering the main hallway with a substantial amount of water.
Nampa Fire Department Battalion Chief Larry Richardson said the overhead pipe burst at 12:48 p.m. Saturday in the mall walkway near the Steve and Barry’s clothing store. Ten Nampa firefighters responded to the scene and “found water raining from the ceiling,” he said.
